Golden Apples of the Sun

This is a collection of very short science fiction stories by the renowned Ray Bradbury. They range from time-traveling dinosaur hunters to iPhone rate, nuclear holocaust to meticulous murderers.
Why we chose this bookRay Bradbury is a household name, known for his science fiction, yet I got the impression that few have read more than a handful of his more well-known works, even science fiction fans. A collection of short stories is a nice departure from the novels we've tended to choose, is very accessible, and will give a much better picture of the kind of writer Rad Bradbury really is.
What we thought of this bookThe stories are imaginative and all over the place. It's a wonderful read, and very surprising in many cases when you realize just how long ago these stories were written. Everyone should read at least a sampling of Bradbury's short works.
