Scooby-Doo

Tonight on Spooky GeekNights, we consider the classic Scooby-Doo in all his forms. And may we never speak of Scrappy-Doo ever again. In the news, NausicaƤ was in theatres again, Nothing Special is something special, that Toblerone thing is because of an anime, Anime Strike's fall lineup includes Inuyashiki, and AnimeNYC is coming soon!

We'll be at PAX Unplugged, and also GaymerX East!

We released both our PAX West 2017 panel - The Rage of the Quitter - and our first new episode of Judge Anime By Its Cover on youtube! Notice it's two channels: Rym and Scott.

Ducktales (2017)

Tonight on GeekNights, we review the new Ducktales reboot. It's everything we could have hoped, and you can watch the first episode legally for free! Here's hoping it's the beginning of a new Disney Afternoon. In other news, Little Witch Academia is fantastic, Giant Robo is fantastic, Ghosts of Miami has launched, Flamecon is fantastic, and the Anime News Network hasn't gotten its domain back yet.

The GeekNights Forum is amazing, and you should join it! We will be back for our 42nd PAX Panel in a couple weeks! The next GeekNights book club book is The Fifth Season!

Moana

Tonight on GeekNights, Rym and Emily review Disney's Moana. It's, in a word, fantastic, and we recommend you see it in theaters in 3D while you still can. If you enjoy Rymily Reviews, there are plenty more in the GeekNights Patreon! Stay tuned for the upcoming Rym and Scott Christmas Special.

Ichabod Crane - The Headless Horseman

Tonight on GeekNights, we review The Adventures of Ichabod, the second half of Disney's The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. Scott GeekBites Miss Hokusai, Delicious in Dungeon is coming to the US, and the Deadpool director is the executive producer for a Sonic movie. Vote for Hillary Clinton if you live in the US.

Bojack Horseman

Tonight on GeekNights, Rym and Emily review Bojack Horseman. The critics are right, and this show is fantastic, if dark. It's definitely worth watching. The first season takes some episodes to hit its stride, season two is a perfect arc, and season three is a series of largely high-concept episodes.

Gravity Falls - Final Thoughts

Tonight on GeekNights, we review Gravity Falls in full. It's a pretty solid cartoon. In the news, we will be doing five shows at Anime Boston this weekend. Escaflowne is getting a dub via pre-orders on Kickstarter. Sakamoto desu ga looks up our alley. Also we talk a bunch about bike rooms, bike laws, and bike thieves.
