[08:26:38] Apsupp is now known as Apsup
[08:30:50] <Bronz|work> Good morning!
[08:30:57] <Apsup> Morning!
[09:07:04] <Apsup> Oh. Google has system where if you have video problems on Youtube it gives you a link where you can see data on your service provider and area.
[09:07:53] <Apsup> Not super useful, but kinda interesting. Non surpricingly most videos are watched in HD. Kinda interesting info is on when videos are watched during the day and how that data differs between service providers.
[09:08:55] <Bronz|work> Oh realy?
[09:09:18] <Apsup> Students seem to watch youtube more during morning/midday and at night. Which makes sense. People paying for their Internet probably have jobs.
[09:10:39] <Apsup> Though the link to that data asks "Experiencing interruption?" and "Find out why".
[09:11:04] <Apsup> But nothing in that data really explained anything why my video decided to stop loading for a while and then kept going normally.
[09:11:12] <Apsup> Probably was just internet being funny for a second there.
[09:13:32] <Bronz|work> Yeah, that sometimes happens.
[09:13:44] <Apsup> I'
[09:13:46] <Bronz|work> Here at work, Youtube is 100% reliable though, so that's nice.
[09:14:24] <Apsup> I'm watching Tekken 7 trailers. Been playing Tag 2 with friend lately, so I've gotten into the idea of Tekken 7 too.
[09:15:21] <Apsup> On PC youtube is usually good. On phone it varies bit more. Wireless tends to do that, I guess.
[09:17:27] <Bronz|work> Do you live by yourself? Other wifi or microwaves or whatever can very easily mess with it.
[09:18:35] <Apsup> This is aparment building, obviously there are some wifis around.
[09:19:18] <Bronz|work> You could always try putting yours on a different wavelength
[09:19:56] <Bronz|work> 5ghz is unlikely to be used by anything else because not everything supports it.
[09:20:04] <Bronz|work> Supposedly a little faster, and definetly less congested.
[09:20:11] <Apsup> It's not like the problems are common enough to be real annoyance. Sometimes there just is more buffering on phone and it likes to default video quality to poop even when it knows it can do better.
[09:20:27] <Bronz|work> Also, sometimes you drop out of IRC for no real reason.
[09:20:47] <Bronz|work> But fair e'nuf.
[09:22:29] <Apsup> I don't use irc on my phone and that usually happens when my PC goes to sleep when I'm not on it. Or when I go to sleep and put my PC to bed too.
[09:22:31] <Apsup> Not literally.
[09:22:59] <Bronz|work> I like the image of cuddling upto your PC tower.
[09:23:13] <Bronz|work> So work decided we didn't really need heating today
[09:23:29] <Bronz|work> Maybe this is building maintanance's revenge for complaining too much or something.
[09:23:32] <Apsup> That doesn't sounds good.
[09:23:46] <Bronz|work> It's not too bad, it's like 15C?
[09:23:53] <Apsup> I'm pretty warm today as it has gotten warmer outside, so no need for wooly socks.
[09:23:58] <Apsup> 15C is horrible.
[09:24:14] <Bronz|work> Oh, everyone has jackets on.
[09:24:16] <Apsup> I hate it when it gets under or even close at 21.
[09:24:53] <Bronz|work> Maybe 15C is too low?
[09:25:22] <Bronz|work> Maybe it's like 17C?
[12:33:52] -!- Aria [Aria!Aria@hide-57D02771.agg2.bdt.bdt-fng.eircom.net] has joined #geeknights
[12:34:09] <Apsup> Afternoon
[12:34:20] <Bronz|work> Hi Aria
[12:34:42] <Aria> Hi
[12:34:50] <Aria> I expected to wake up earlier than this
[12:35:01] <Aria> Because I was awake at 7 and tried hard to fall asleep
[12:35:16] <Aria> As in, I slept last night, woke up at 7 then took another nap
[12:37:13] <Bronz|work> https://www.reddit.com
[12:38:41] <Aria> Huh, I expected a negative score
[12:38:53] <Bronz|work> nope, top comment
[12:39:09] <Bronz|work> By far.
[12:54:40] <Apsup> Life is hard. Last week one pdf I need for my new table top game refused to be printed, but as it was not mandatory then I left it be. Now I tried again and it sill refuses to be printed.
[12:55:15] <Apsup> Dunno even where the issue is. Is the file corrupted in some way that only printer picks up? Just printer being picky? Some other bullshit.
[12:57:15] <Apsup> Also, I don't have my own printer (with any ink) so every time I want to test something I have to run downstairs to common workspace.
[13:05:38] <Bronz|work> We recently got printers at our office.
[13:05:47] <Bronz|work> I used to be the only one in the area that could print...
[13:06:34] <Aria> Apsup, save the file using a different thing
[13:07:06] <Aria> If its reading correctly on your computer, the new file should look correct, but without the bug
[13:21:18] <Bronz|work> Hey Aria, can you do a load of Laundry and/or the dishwasher?
[13:22:57] <Apsup> I did laundry this morning. I was little late on getting my stuff out of dryer so someone had taken my clothes out of it and put them on top the dryer.
[13:23:17] <Aria> Yes
[13:23:18] <Apsup> They had folded the first few items nicely and then went "fuck it" and tossed rest there randomly.
[13:39:49] <Bronz|work> Maybe the bottom item just happen to come out all nicely folded?
[13:40:06] <Apsup> Not likely.
[13:50:06] <Bronz|work> Well, I guess the previous person was 1/15th nice
[14:33:25] <Apsup> Apparently I can't read clock. I saw that it's 16:33 and panicked that I need to be at rpg club in 30 minutes. Club which starts at 18:00.
[14:43:02] <Bronz|work> clocks are hard.
[14:45:39] <Bronz|work> I just noticed how dangerous that sentence is.
[14:55:47] <Aria> World of Warcraft has a original race do not steal called Val'kyr. They're angel-like ladies with bikini armor
[14:57:24] <Bronz|work> A lot of WoW stuff is Origina-character-do-not-steal, right?
[14:57:34] <Aria> It's the ' that makes it funny
[14:59:39] <Aria> Also I think the art direction was just "Like that digimon, Angewoman"
[15:16:02] <Apsup> I approve that art direction.
[15:29:00] <Bronz|work> Your description turns out to be actually very spot-on.

[16:10:23] <Bronz|work> Btw, how were the waffles?
[16:10:32] <Bronz|work> Did you find them on the counter?
[16:13:08] <Aria> I'm gonna try them now!
[16:13:34] <Bronz|work> Ah, I thought you'd run into them while doing the laundry
[16:13:38] <Bronz|work> Or the dishwasher.
[16:14:01] <Aria> Yeah no, I'm very focused you see
[16:14:12] <Aria> I had an alarm set to tell me to do those things
[16:14:16] <Aria> But my alarm never went off!
[16:14:28] <Aria> (I have done those things, but yknow, just now, as opposed to when you asked)
[16:15:31] <Bronz|work> =P
[16:18:27] <Aria> Soul Reverse has such high production value I think its a console game every time I see it, then get dissapointed
[16:20:09] <Bronz|work> Ah, I see what you mean.
[16:24:30] <Aria> Yeah, your waffles are pretty darn good
[16:29:30] <Bronz|work> <3
